Paddle this tree lined section of the Schuylkill River between Birdsboro and Douglassville through moving water and a few class 1 rapids.  Expect a good current from recent rains.  We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way.  The anticipated time on the water for this 10 mile paddle is 4 hours.  The Schuylkill River is approximately 65 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.  The trip was changed from the Perkiomen due to lower water levels.
