This two-day whitewater kayaking class is designed for students who currently have whitewater skills, are comfortable in class 2-3 water and wish to step up their skills to the next level. Course content will concentrate on more challenging maneuvers, surfing and water reading skills. A roll is not necessary but helpful. This is not a beginner course.
Class will be held on the Lehigh River, rain or shine.
CLASS TIME: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
CLASS MEETING LOCATION: Instructor will contact you via e-mail.
HOW TO DRESS: Be prepared to be wet all day. Clothing suggestion: Quick Drying Shorts and Shirt, Swimsuit, windbreaker or rainjacket, closed water shoes or sneakers (no sandals or barefeet).
COST: Adults: $100 -- Minors (12-18 years old): $50 (Price includes boat, paddle, sprayskirt, lifejacket and helmet).
